Founded by baker Ran Zimon in 2010, Bread Lounge is a modern bakery & coffeehouse featuring a selection of traditional European bread and pastries.
Made with wild yeast, we feature vegan bread such as our baguettes, ciabatta, multigrain, sourdough, and other loaves.
We also bake a long list of pastries daily, including croissants, danishes, and Jerusalem bagels.
Our café serves all-day breakfast, soups, sandwiches, and classic Mediterranean dishes, such as the shakshuka, and labneh with olive oil.
Come for a brioche and a coffee. Sit and watch our baguettes being pulled fresh from the oven, then load up with your daily bread. On the shelves that line the café, you can find Bread Lounge’s cookies, confiture, granola and much more.
Since 2010, Bread Lounge has brought the art of baking to the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. Handcrafted and baked fresh daily, we pride ourselves in using only all natural ingredients: water, flour, natural yeast and salt.
Our bakery is designed like the lofts that surround it, high-ceiling and light-filled, with tables and chairs set up next to a panoramic window through which you can see the bakers craftsmanship and mastery in the skill of bread making, beating a path from the ovens to the front counter.
